JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Caregiver is responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, as well as support and companionship for our clients. Duties may include personal grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders and accompanying the client to any doctor’s appointments.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helping clients take prescribed medication
- Assisting with mobility in and around the house
- Personal care/hygiene
- Preparing meals
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Home Health Aide credential, in good standing
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to successfully pass initial competency exam
- Must successfully complete new hire onboarding and training
- A passion to help others

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Caregiver must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to bend, twist, stoop to complete the required tasks
- Must be able to carry up to 25 pounds, i.e. carrying groceries, laundry, etc.
